Generally an estate sale is conducted when a family's circumstances require them to liquidate the contents of a loved one's home. Perhaps a loved one has passed away or has moved to an assisted living or nursing home. Sometimes the family has decided to sell the home or has already placed the home on the market.

Sometimes a family or individual will request a moving sale if they are downsizing, moving across the country, or simply moving across town and do not want to bring all of their current furniture and belongings to their new home.

For both estate and moving sales, ATR Estate Sales will come into the home and take care of everything from organizing, displaying, and pricing items to advertising and conducting the sale. At the completion of the sale we always leave the home clean and will even donate any remaining items to allow our customers to receive a tax credit.

In addition, ATR Estate Sales will never charge an initial consultation fee to look at an estate.
